Para Bellum Security Consulting is a security firm serving Memphis and the surrounding area, offering services to local businesses, schools, and churches. We're setting ourselves apart from other security companies by providing top-of-the-line security that can be customized to the needs of our customers. Our team has a collective experience of nearly 50 years in military agencies, giving us expert knowledge in physical security solutions, practical training, and proactive threat prevention strategies.
Our Team
Owner
Mason Cummings has 20 years of military service. He served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps and 16 years in the US Army, 13 as a Green Beret with 20th Special Forces Group. He graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelors in Linguistics. He taught hundreds of SOF personnel intelligence techniques as an independent contractor and worked private security for the State Department overseas. He is a Special Operations Forces Austere Care Course graduate focusing on trauma, nursing, and prolonged field care and is a certified Stop the Bleed instructor. Mason is a Director of Safety and Security for a large company based in Memphis, TN and has an ASIS International Physical Security Professional Certification.
JUSTIN CUMMINGS
Instructor
Justin Cummings is a combat veteran with 22 years of distinguished military service. He served four years in the United States Marine Corps Infantry, three years in the United States Air Force, six years in the United States Army as a Green Beret, and eight years as a 68W Combat Medic. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Memphis and went on to work as a military contractor for over a decade, specializing in security and medical training. Throughout his career, Justin has trained more than 5,000 military personnel, government employees, and civilians, reflecting a lifelong passion for empowering others through training, self-development, and shared growth.
BRANDON JULIUS
Instructor
Brandon Julius is a United States Marine Corps veteran with extensive experience in protective services, security operations, and paramilitary work. He has worked as a Security Professional specializing in risk assessment, layered physical security, and crisis response in both domestic and international environments. Brandon is the co-founder of Volunteers for Ukraine (VfU), a 501(c)(3) humanitarian organization, where he has integrated security protocols, coordinated logistics, and supported civilian and military assistance efforts in conflict-affected regions.
